WAIVER, RELEASE & PRIVACY POLICY
I know that dancing can and has potential chances for injuries, including travel and inclement weather. I want to voluntarily participate in activities arranged or conducted by Dirt Cheap Blues (DCB), Attucks Theatre, City of Norfolk, City of Virginia Beach, HRNM, Upper Deck Restaurant, Natchel Blues Network, BeachEvents, host scene directors, SwingVirginia, any of it's agents, venues, other participants, volunteers, DJs, servants, owners, employees, sponsors, and any associates or participants, (hereinafter jointly referred to as STAFF). I HEREBY RELEASE the STAFF and all other participants of and from all claims for any injury and damage; EXPRESSLY ASSUME THE RISK OF INJURY AND DAMAGE; and will INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the STAFF as to any claims for injury and/or damage, including any travel to or from events. I agree to obey all federal, state and city laws and regulations. I understand and agree that this document is intended to be a legally binding contract to be interpreted only under the laws of the State of Virginia. If any portion of this document is invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full legal force and effectI hereby irrevocably consent to and authorize the Staff to use and reproduce for any purpose whatsoever any and all photographs and videos taken for any purpose. All such photographs and videos, including negatives, digital images, images given to the Staff, and the like, can be used by the Staff for promotional and any other means.

I understand that DCB reserves the right to change any aspects of the DCB weekend including the events, the event schedule, prices, venues, and all charges associated with DCB.

HOUSING POLICY:
Housing is limited and not guaranteed. Repeat NOT guaranteed. Housing is given to full-paid registrants first. First-pay, first-served. I agree to seek alternative housing if filled.

REFUND POLICY:
Refunds are on a case to case basis. Inclement weather is taken into consideration. Staff will try to take care of those that cannot make the event due to circumstances beyond their control (hurricane, air travel situations, etc). There are no refunds to registrants who do not show up. There are no refunds on individual dances or classes if you are unable to make them. I understand this prevents people trying to get money back just because they didn't feel like driving that day. I understand DCB is covering their financial butts.

PRIVACY POLICY
All information submitted through this form will be kept private and confidential. DCB does not sell or re-use any of your data for any purposes other than to facilitate a great experience while registering for and attending our event.

EXCHANGE REFUND SCHEDULE:
until 5/31/2013 - Full Refund 
6/1/2013-6/30/2013 - 75% Refund 
7/1/2013 - 7/31/2013 - 50% Refund 
8/1/2013 - 8/25/13 - 25% Refund 
Refunds will not be given after 8/26/2013.

I have read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of and as part payment or attending for the right to participate, I understand the above waiver and its purpose. e.g.: No lawsuits or litigations.

Pre-registering through this website will lock you in at the price you paid. Refund policy: Sorry, no refunds to registrants who just do not show up. We also will not refund individual dancers if you are unable to make them. Sorry, but deposits were made based on registrant numbers.
